Faith-Based Urban Crime Drama Debuts on DVD and North American VOD Platforms on July 28th
Los Angeles, CA – July 1, 2020 – Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios, has acquired North American rights to the faith-based urban crime drama, THE ANSWER. THE ANSWER will be available to rent and own on DVD and North American digital HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms through Freestyle Digital Media on July 28, 2020.
THE ANSWER tells the story of what happens when a city is infested by crime and a notorious gangster makes an unlikely friend to change the community. THE ANSWER follows the life of a notorious gangster, Sozo Mathis, who through circumstance finds himself at a crossroad in his life. At this pivotal point, he meets Pastor and Detective, Alex Morgan. Through intervention and guidance, Alex directs Sozo in a direction that brings change to an entire community, but most importantly brings “The Answer.”
Written, directed, and produced by David Rivers, THE ANSWER features an ensemble cast including Asa Nails (‘Sozo Mathis’), Sean Johnson (‘Alex Morgan’), and Todd Rhodes (‘Spain’). James G. Rodges, Phyllis Rodges, and Jonesville are Executive Producers.
